I’d like to thank ALL of my friends for helping out with the tournament last week. The success of the tournament wouldn’t have been possible without you guys. You guys are truly great friends. Thanks for all of your cooperation and teamwork last week. Also, the tournament wouldn’t have been possible without, Cuong. He stayed up all night last Thursday putting together the brackets just to make sure that all of you were accommodated for. This is a very difficult task for those of you who don’t know–making sure you’re matched up with people you want to/don’t want to play with the first round and that there are no time conflicts. The system that he came up with on the day of the tournament was very efficient from registration to times that matches took place to which courts participants were playing on. So with a lot of hard work put into this tournament, we hope you’ve had a great time so far!

1) Register AND Pay before Saturday, May 16th to qualify to get your registration money back. You will be entered into a drawing along with everyone else who pays before May 16th. DEADLINE for Registration and Payment is May 20th.

2) Make sure you bring enough liquids to hydrate yourself on the tennis court.

3) If you haven’t already purchased a t-shirt from us, make sure you bring cash so that you can get one at the tournament. T-shirts will be sold for $5 and proceeds from that will go to VietHope.

4) Get all of your friends and family to register for the tournament NOW!

5) There will be a COMPLIMENTARY BBQ (until supplies last) for your friends and family to enjoy. Participants will get a special lunch provided by us.

6) Remember, this is a 9-game pro-set single elimination tournament.

7) THIS SATURDAY on May 16th from 11A to 1P, there will be a DEMO DAY at Gates Tennis Center. You can try out the new Spring 2009 racquets from Babolat, Prince, Wilson and Head.
